Q. When does the new course start?
A. The first training documents will reach you by Saturday September 4th. The four days intensive training at the end of the course will be from Thursday November 4th through to and including Sunday November 7th
Q. When does the course need to be paid for?
A. The non-refundable deposit needs to be paid no less than 4 weeks before the course start date. For more payment options see the individual course format pages.
Q. I live only a short way from Dorchester and am interested in doing the distance learning course but don’t wish to stay at the hotel. Can I get a rebate on the course cost if I don’t stay at the hotel?
A. No. The course cost is based on the student staying at the hotel and is a non-negotiable price. There is an alternative course run over 20 weeks which is face to face in Dorchester once a fortnight. See the main training page for details.
Q. Is the content of the Distance Learning course exactly the same as the face-to-face course?
A. The training documents are identical and the content of the course is the same, however, the teaching methods vary due to the on-line and telephone element.
Q. Will I be able to set up in practice after training?
A. Yes. you will have all the knowledge you need and the appropriate qualification once the course has been successfully completed.
Q. Will I be able to get professional insurance?
A. Yes you will and at a discounted price when you join the General Hypnotherapy Register as a full practitioner.
Q. How much support do I get after training?
A. You will have ongoing support for as long as you need it and will be invited to reunions and workshops including seminars.
Q. Is the course a recognised qualification?
A. Yes - we are an accredited training provider and our course is validated by the GHSC - for details see the training page.
Q. How many hours of study time will I need to put in before the final 4 days?
A. We recommend that you find time for at least an average of 4 hours a day over the 10 weeks of the course. Don't panic! It's really not that much and please bear in mind that this figure will vary from student to student depending on how quickly they learn and how much additional support they may need.
